Transportation Charges

Status of payment of dealers’ margin and inter-state transportation charges:

Rs. 100 per quintal

For inter-state transportation charges from FCI to FPS.

**Note** - However we are paying Rs. 57.00 per quintal to the transport contractor as the payment of transportation of rice from FCI to State Food Godowns and Rs. 43.00 being paid to the FPS as the transportation charges of rice from Food Godown to FPS. Rs. 160.00 per quintal has been allocated as the Fair Price Shop Commission including handling of ePOS device under NFSA. Due to increase in the cost of petroleum products the transportation charges needs to be enhanced.
